Cardinals

First graders read a book featuring these two cardinals on their journey through a winter wonderland.  They then made these wonderful mixed media cardinals.  The students used cut paper for the bird and bath, yarn for the wings, sharpie for details and white paint for snow!  These were great at giving the walls a wintery feel, especially because it hadn’t snowed yet in Kansas!
